Who We Are
Hi, my name is Joe, and I’m proud to welcome you to Kane Community Services a disability support service built on a passion for empowering individuals to reach their full potential. For over a decade, I worked as a paediatric cancer nurse, dedicating 10 years to caring for children and families facing some of life’s toughest challenges. That experience influenced me profoundly; regarding resilience, compassion, patience and the importance of truly listening to those in my care.
Over the past several years, I’ve transitioned into disability support work, where I’ve had the privilege of supporting clients with a wide range of needs—autism spectrum disorder (ASD), mental illness, intellectual disabilities, and more. I started this company because I believe everyone deserves the chance to live their best life, no matter the obstacles they face. My approach is simple but sincere; I listen to what my clients need, and tailor support to help them thrive while always upholding the highest standards of safety and care.
